Distance : 3.5 miles Height Ascended :1400 feet
The footpath from the valley road between Pye House and Long House provides an excellent
viewpoint for the row of majestic fells that surround the head of Langdale .
.particularly as the ridge top at Swinescar Hause is approached.
Pike o' Blisco, Crinkle Crags and Bowfell.
Once the ridge top is reached there are great views to the north
.......here the Helvelynn ridge over Gibson Knott and Helm Crag.
